Gardeners, this year’s plant sale will take place on the weekend of 8th/9th July at the Scout Hut in Northwood Way. It will be our 25th plant sale.
This may seem a long way off but we know many of you do like to donate plants; the more notice the better for splitting perennials and potting up cuttings. It’s quite difficult to sell plants that are not properly established in pots.
We shall be sharing the proceeds between The Northwood Live at Home Scheme and The Scout Hut Rebuild Fund. As you know, this is a very special year for the 1st Northwood Scout Group; we have set ourselves the target of raising £100,000 to build a much-needed Scouting Centre to replace our poor old Hut. So, let’s make this a bumper Plant Sale.
