ADULT LEADER TRAINING – THE 3 MANDATORIES (First Aid, Safety, Safeguarding)

The Scout Association asks all adults in Scouting to have valid First Aid Certificate (updated every 3 years) and to attend Safety and Safeguarding training every 5 years.

Module 1 (and Module 1 for Executives) cover basic Safety and Safeguarding so we ask you to do a full course within 2-3 years of this as your role and responsibility in your Group progresses.

First Aid Training – Sunday 26th February 2017 at 6th Eastcote
Leaders in need of or due to renew First Aid should have received an e mail invite already but if you’re not sure or would like to sign up please e mail me.

Most First Aid certificates from work/other organisation also cover this requirement – again please just ask.

Safety and Safeguarding Courses:
Sun 12 Feb Ealing & Hanwell (Leighton Hall)
Sat 25 March Harrow & Wealdstone (venue tbc)
Sun 26 March TGU (venue tbc)

To sign up please e-mail me. You can check your renewal date on Compass or ask me.

As always, many thanks for the time you give up for this training which helps to keep all our young people safe.
